Trekking is bliss as one can travel and
explore at the same time. People come to the touch of nature while trekking and
it gives immense pleasure to an individual. Those who have not tried it yet,
should try soon. It is not a very difficult thing to achieve but when you trek
for the first time, it is a good idea to join the experts so that if you face
any kind of problems, they can help you with that. On the other hand, there are
different difficulty levels of trekking. If you are going to trek for the first
time, then choose an easy route to trek.
If you stay in Bangalore or near the city,
there are many places to explore. Trekking near Bangalore has many
options in the coming months.
NishanimotteTrek:
This will start from 24th March at 9 AM in
the morning and will end on 26th march in the evening. This trek is
organised y the Nature Walkers organisation. To book tickets for this trek, one
has to make a reservation by paying Rs 3599. Betta or Nishani Motte is one of
the unfamiliar peaks in the Bhagamandala Range near Coorg which is one the most
serene hill stations here. The trek distance from the base point to the peak is
about 13 to 14 kilometres. One has to start the trek from the rich forests and
green meadows and one can also get to see a lot of wild animals while going to
the top. This is a perfect weekend destination from Bangalore.
Bheemeshwari
Trek Overnight: This has a
duration from 25th march 9.30 AM in the morning to 26th
march till 11 AM. If you want to join in, you need to book this weekend. This
trek trip is organised by the Quest Adventure Group and to secure a place there
on has to buy a ticket worth Rs 2725. This is a beautiful trek route as one
goes through a path which has natural streams all around and they crisscross
each other’s path. The surrounding has rich fauna and greeneries and one can
enjoy their journey to the fullest in the lap of nature. One will get surprised
to know that this serenity lies just a 100 kilometres’ away from the daily
cacophony of the city in Bangalore. This trek itinerary includes pick up and
drop facilities from the meeting point and overnight stay in hotels along with
campfire, diner and the next morning breakfast as well.
Summer Camp
in the lap if nature at Bannerghata: this is on
5th of April which will start from 6 AM in the morning and end at 6
PM in the evening. Organised by Nature Fellow, to participate in this, one has
to pay an amount of Rs1362. This is a nature journey mainly for the children
and one can enrol in this camp when they are above 9 years of age. This will be
organised on other dates as well depending on the age groups. There will be a
lot of fun and group activates as well.
